If you are sick and tired of rampant political correctness, and cockeyed leadership in Washington and locally, get out and vote!

[How do I do that, Bucky?  I have never voted before, or I have moved, or I have not voted in a long time.]

• Go to this website to find out all about it, state by state. 
• If you are in South Carolina, go in person to your county Board of Voter Registration, or the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), or go to this website.  

Go do it now.  You must register 30 days before the election, so, you must register before October 8, 2016.

Even if you are discouraged with the candidates.  Vote.  Vote for the best candidate who will return our freedoms, not take more of our money in taxes and spend it the way they choose to. 

It could be the difference between socialism's failures and free enterprise's success for all of us. 

 

As for me, I'll vote for free enterprise every time.  It has worked for over 200 years, and has brought immeasurable prosperity to these United States for all who live here.

I'll give you some tips on who it makes the most sense to vote for in an upcoming posting.

Found! The Van That Could Have Killed Me.

A few weeks ago, I wrote about a van coming at me in the wrong lane in the curves of US-178. 

Fortunately, I wasn't killed. 

I had the GoPro camera rolling, so I captured his irresponsibility.  I couldn't identify the vehicle because the front license tag is not state-issued.  ...but it is distinctive, as is the vehicle. 

Well, I now know the license number of this van, because it was seen August 31, 2016 at 10:17AM in the side parking lot of the Hollingsworth building at 147 East Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712.

Here is a picture of that building.  The parking lot where the van was parked is on the right of the building. 

The building houses:

• Quotations Coffee Cafe
• Wells Fargo Advisor
• Main Street Limited
• McGuire, Wood and Bissette attorneys
• Camp Pacs
• Cardinal Title Center 
• Danny Hollingsworth Dry Wall 

Whoever owns the van is probably either an employee or a patron of one of those businesses.  The building to the right in the picture, across the parking lot, is the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce, at 175 East Main Street.

We must never forget what Islamist terrorists
did to us in 2001.  

 

The enemy -- ISIS, Iran, Afghanistan, and many others -- is growing stronger and our political leadership is studiously ignoring and denying the danger. 

We must stand strong against them forever and always, lest the freedom of this greatest country on earth be lost forever.

Osama bin Laden planned the 9/11 attacks, and was funded by Iran.  TODAY, the United States is funding Iran the biggest source of terrorists and terrorist funding on the planet -- to the tune of billions of YOUR tax dollars.
